Tree removal may be necessary where a tree is dead, unsafe, unsuitable for its position or in conflict with an approved project. We inspect the site and select a method that gives the team proper control throughout the work.
Felling and dismantling
Where there is enough clear space, a tree may be felled from ground level. In tighter locations it is dismantled in sections by a climber or from a work platform. Branches and stem sections can be lowered with ropes and rigging where they cannot be allowed to fall freely.

- Sectional dismantling near buildings, roads and gardens
- Use of tracked or truck mounted access platforms where appropriate
- Controlled lowering of branches and timber
- Processing or removal of arisings as agreed
Planning the work
Access, traffic, neighbouring property, overhead services, ground conditions and wildlife considerations are reviewed before work begins. Large or awkward trees may require additional machinery and a carefully planned exclusion area.
Stump grinding can be included where the remaining stump needs to be removed for access, replanting or landscaping.
